User data deletion

TeamStar Manager

Effective date: 16 August 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from TeamStar Manager, operated by TeamStar Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 60 675 843 008).

Meta (Facebook) apps must tell people how to request deletion of their data. You can use the process below whether you contacted us through our website, TeamStar Manager, WhatsApp, or another Meta-related channel connected to our app.

How to request deletion

Email us at:

info@teamstar.net.au

Please include:

  • the subject line Data deletion request;
  • your full name;
  • the email address and/or mobile number associated with your TeamStar Manager use;
  • your team or club name (if known); and
  • any Facebook or Instagram user ID you have, if your request relates to removing a Meta-connected app (optional but helpful).

We may ask for reasonable verification so we do not delete the wrong person’s data.

What we will delete

When we confirm your request, we will delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data we hold about you in TeamStar Manager, where we are able to do so, including account profile details and related records tied to you as an identifiable person.

We may retain limited information where we are required or permitted to do so by law, for example:

  • records needed for tax, accounting or dispute resolution;
  • security and fraud-prevention logs for a limited period; or
  • information we must keep to comply with a legal obligation.

If your details appear only because a club or team manager added you (for example as a player contact), we may also need to involve that club or manager, or limit deletion to data we control as the service provider.

Timing

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete deletion (or explain any lawful retention) within 30 days of verifying your identity and the scope of the request.

Status of your request

After we receive your request, we will email you a confirmation and a reference code. You can reply to that email at any time to ask for an update on status.

Meta / Facebook app removal

If you connected or authorised a Meta app related to TeamStar, you can also remove the app from your Facebook settings:

  1. Open Facebook Apps and Websites settings.
  2. Remove the TeamStar-related app.
  3. If available, use Send Request for deleted apps to ask that associated data be deleted.

Removing the app from Facebook does not automatically delete every record held in TeamStar Manager. Please also email info@teamstar.net.au so we can process deletion on our side.
